Happy Friday

Sunshine.  Lots of it today.

Chocolate chip cookies.  Fresh out of the oven.

Gratitude. Woke up this morning with a heart, full to the brim.

Weekend blessings,

10 on 10

My first participation in 10 on 10.  It's fairly straightforward, I suppose.  Share 10 {recently snapped} photos on the 10th day of each month.

10 photos capturing the everyday, day to day, mundane.  10 photos highlighting the beauty that can lie in simplicity.  10 photos {in my case} of inanimate objects.  Seeing as I currently {and purposefully} lack a drooling, pint-sized, half-Asian babe to cart around and photograph to my heart's content.  All in due time!
Frosty morning Subaru.  Long forgotten laundry.  Delectable fabric pile.  Watering the "children". Simple sewing project.  Mixing up comfort.  Pre-workout hydration.  Magnetic is magnificent.  Eng household favorite.  Husband does dinner.

Keep the circle going. Check out this lovely and inspiring 10 on 10 by Mary at MKC Photography...

Until next time,

Autumn Rewind

Recently...

Homemade applesauce extravaganza.  Family lovin'.  Fall-time walks.  Photo worthy foliage.  November drizzle.  First snow calm.  Thanksgiving puzzle tradition.  Apple Cup party with great friends.  Delighted husband.  Grateful wife.

Christmas blessings!

No-Name Treats

I recently decided to make a recipe I came across on Pinterest.  They're colorful, fun, easy, and it's impossible to eat just one. Sure, these delicious little bites can hardly be considered baking or cooking.  They even lack a formal name, and I couldn't think of anything creative to call them. Yet, the salty, chocolaty, crunchy combination is a hands-down winner.

Three simple, classic ingredients: mini-twist pretzels, Hershey's kisses, and M&M's.
Place one Hershey's kiss on top of each pretzel.
Evidence of the most tedious part.
Just 3 minutes in the oven at 275 degrees.  Remove, and press one M&M into each Hershey's Kiss.
Finished product, after a quick chill in the fridge to solidify things.
